An intuitive artist and furniture restorer/designer creating work rooted in energy, emotion and transformation. Whether on canvas or wood, each piece is a study in feeling - guided by instinct and connection.
Through layered finishes, rich tones ad expressive detail, Lidia re-imagines both art and vintage/antique furniture into pieces that feel soulful and alive - designed not just to be seen, but to be felt.
Daughter of immigrant parents, raised in the UK, later moving to the USA, art was Lidia's escape from some of her family struggles as they emerged from the challenges that her post WWII refugee parents faced as they tried to create a life, a future for their children. She started drawing at the age of 7. At a young age she understood the value of her work and whenever possible, sold what she made. This mindset followed her into her adulthood, enabling her to be a entrepreneur.
Influenced by her lifestyle once in the USA, she began to paint murals, wooden signs, furniture, canvases, developing her style and voice through her paintbrush. In recent years, her passion both as a contemporary artist and vintage/antique furniture restorer and designer, began to emerge.
Her art has been recognised and seen globally and most recently published.
